Hjärt Muller is a bass overdrive from Moody Sounds. It's basically a modded tube screamer adapted for use with bass and it sounds pretty good. Moody Sounds made great DIY kits, so check them out. :)

Here's an interesting fuzz if you like noise :) I found that a B100K works better for Oscillation Frequency and A20K for Power Starve. Here a demo-video I found on youtube I was interested to hear how the first Big Muff sounded, so I drew up this layout from the schematic of the first hand wired versions that was made around 1968-1971. It doesn't have as much gain or volume as a modern Big Muff, but it sounds excellent, much more articulate. I found the schematic on Kit Rae's excellent Big Muff PI home page here.
