This is a GREAT sounding mosfet CMOS overdrive/distortion by Gez.

Whew, what a beast.
Sounds killer for dirty but modern metal guitars on a slightly driven or clean amp. I've found that you can best use it as a "clean" boost (quote marks because it's pretty crunchy with the gain at zero). but if maxed out it crushes the signal and creates an almost broken sounding distortion.
I've managed to get anything from broken Swedish Death sounds to stellar modern metal sounds out of it.
I'll try to modify the layout to add a simple tone control and a clean blend to make it suitable for bass and get it shared here.
