"The Insanity Box" designed by Aron Nelson (the founder of diystompboxes.com) with mods from Jack Orman (www.muzique.com) is a great sounding fuzz/distortion! It reminds me of a Big Muff, but alittle more articulate/clearer. It has a massive amount of gain (depending on how you set the trimpots).

Could you help me out? I don't really get how this is built, I can get the parts but the layout isn't making too much sense to me

My build of this diagram didn't work. I had planned to compare it to other published schematics of the circuit but I got distracted with amp projects and forgot about this.

The blue/ purple lines are jumpers. The red marks are spots where you remove the copper to stop flow of electric. The jumpers go on opposite side of components Leave a Reply. |
