Another Octave Down, very different from the Synthbox. Cleaner and bassier octave. Modded by me for true bypass. Have a look at my completed build here. This circuit is a bit below unity gain, but John Kallas did his own version of my layout with an added boost daughterboard. Check out his layout here.

Hey, I've buit this a while ago and it was working like a charm, thanks! The only problem was I kept having trouble with transistors popping out of sockets transporting it between gigs. So today I decided to solder them in, and to my dismay the effect stopped working. All I get now is that the blend acts as a tone knob and low-passes stuff at high wiper positions.

A little more information regarding this. I checked the BC and BE forward voltages for all BJTs, which all gave a nice .7V. The GS and GD voltages for the FETs were also .7V, but the DS voltages were quite different. Q1 showed .04V while Q2 showed .35V.

Oops, all I had was that the rail H was broken between Q6 and the jumper. All is fine now. 9/6/2019 10:15:54 am

Is the direct sound and octave sound supposed to fuzz or clean sound?
