Here's a nice ringmod / aliaser. Perfect for those 8-bit sounds. I don't know when I'll ever have any use for this kind of effect, but it's fun to play around with. :) I used a vero layout from a member (Albru80) of the tagboardeffects forum (original thread here). But I ended up using a modified version of his layout and omitted a few of the knobs such as gate, width and volume. Sometimes simpler is better. :) Here is the modified layout I ended up using.

Hey Fredrik! I just recently built this and left a post in the tagboard forum post about it, but I'm having a hard time dialing it in to get anything other than clean sounds. I was hoping you could give me a few tips on which order to dial in the three controls which are trimmers. I know it's been a few years, but anyway it sounds like a lot of fun. Leave a Reply. |
