The Punch amp

Or should I call it the telephone coin saving amp? :) It's a tiny 1 watt amp based on the TDA7052A chip. It also works well as a headphone amp. Unfortunatly it doesn't play well with dirt-pedals, but as a stand alone unit I like it. It's much cleaner then the Noisy Cricket. Vero layout here.
There was alot to fit inside the small space. Insted of a power on/off switch I went with a stereo input-jack for switching and a battery insted of a DC jack. In the video i'm testing it though an old radio with a 10" guitarspeaker from tubetown (I have plans for that radio, more on that soon...)

The frequency response of the PUNCH amp is flat, you need to tailor the frequency response of your distortion pedal, for instance, with a mid cut.

Nice build and enclosure for the PUNCH.

Cheers.

Thanks for commenting! :)
The person that tipped me about this circuit called it the Chime amp, but it's correct that it's actuall the punch amp circuit. I will change my post. I don't want to discredit anyone. :) For headphones it definitly needs a EQ/speaker simulator circuit, but when playing thru a guitarspeaker I think it sounds nice as it is. (I like mids) :)
cheers / Fredrik
