I have mostly built on vero (stripboard) so far, except a few readymade PCB's. But lately I have doing my own PCB etching and I've experimented with etching graphics aswell.

Here's a few attempts at ecthing graphics with mixed results. My fourth try turned out good, finally! :) That one was made with Caustic Soda insted of Ferrite Cloride.
I found that making PCB's are pretty easy. I'm using the toner transfer method to transfer the layout with heat and then using Sodium Persulfate to remove the copper. My first own PCB build (a Boss CE-2 Chorus clone) worked the first time I fired it up.
For etching graphics I've been following these great tutorials:
  • Mark M's etching tutorial
  • Slade's multicolor etching tutorial (PDF)
  • How I do etching by DIY guitar effects (this one worked best for me)
  • the etched enclosures thread on diystompboxes.com
