The Multiwave Mega Guitar Synthesizer
The Multiwave Mega is a wavetable-based guitar synthesizer with an analog resonant lowpass filter. It's the big brother of the Multiwave (released in 2018) but with alot more waveshapes and features.
The Multiwave Mega is a 100% original design and the results of over 8 months of development time, with countless hours of breadboarding and late night programming. I hope you like it! For more detail, please check out the user manual.
Please note that the small OLED screen and the related circuitry is not included or supported with the PCB/DIY kit. It's only used for the fully assembled Parasit Studio build (which shares the same PCB layout for my own convenience). Sorry to disappoint anyone!
I decided to not include it, since it would make it harder to for alot of people to build it (having to make a square hole) and add an extra cost. The oscilloscope is a fun novelty feature but not really necessary. All the other features are the same. :) That said... if you really want to add it, you can find the HEX code for the Attiny85 (that is driving the oled screen) below (coming soon...), but you have to program the chip yourself. Parasit Studio is not selling preprogrammed Attiny85 chips for this use, with no exceptions.
To install the OLED, use long straight pin headers (the ones I use are 17mm long in total). Or you can also just solder on snipped off component legs to extend the OLED pins (it usually comes with short pins) . Otherwise just follow the BOM for the extra components inside the outlined area on the PCB. There's only one way to insert the OLED into the PCB when it will fit - but to be on the safe side, make sure that the markings on the oled and bottom side of the PCB match (VDD, GND, SCK, SDA). Ignore the two pads (one named "o") to the right with within the outlined area. They are not used for anything.
